How to Win Total Conquest
Map control, not a kill feed. Hold cities, spend commands on purpose, and close the board without donating your backline.
Winning Total Conquest means controlling the whole map and cashing the reward. You can look like the action hero of a match — missiles, contested tiles, chat chaos — and still lose because another commander sat on more cities and out-produced your highlights. This page is the close-out plan. Learn the loop in how to play and the sieges in how to capture cities before you treat this as a checklist.
The real scoreboard
Ask three questions every minute:
- How many cities do I own versus the next player?
- Are those cities collecting, or did I abandon them for a meme send?
- Can a third player walk into my capital if I commit to the next fight?
If the city count is against you, you are not “about to win.” You are on a timer. Steal or retake an urban tile before you paint countryside. If the city count is yours, you are the table’s target. Play like it.
Mid-game: stop fighting for vanity tiles
After the opening, countryside is only useful as:
- a bridge between your cities
- a buffer that makes an enemy walk extra tiles
- a block on someone else’s city chain
It is not useful as a painted border for the screenshot. Every troop on a vanity tile is a troop not overflowing into the next city. The army hub is blunt about this: production tiles, then infrastructure, then cosmetics.
Using friends without trusting the whole server
Online play is the mode. Friends can assign cities so you do not crash stacks. Call numbers: who holds, who walks, who keeps the missile for the last urban cluster. Voice chat is not supported in the listing, so use an external call or short Roblox messages.
Do not confuse a friend group with the other 48 seats. Unspoken truces die the moment you look like the leader. Keep garrisons. The troop-split planner exists for the moment someone in chat says “ally” and then sends.
Commands as win tools, not lootbox toys
Match rewards and the com code buy commands. A winning player spends them when a city is about to flip, not when they are bored. Production commands belong on your best city. Strike commands belong on the defender you are already walking toward. Ranking live options sits on the command tier list and the command roster.
Wasting a roll on a lost spawn because you wanted to “see what it does” is how you enter the next match with the same leak.
Missiles in the close
Missiles punch a hole. In a winning position you use them to:
- drop a last stubborn city garrison
- cut a reinforcement path between two enemy cities
- punish a player who emptied a capital to contest you
You do not use them to farm damage on empty land. If the shop is tempting you into a missile buy when you already have the city lead, buy nothing and collect. Tempo is already yours.
The pile-on problem
When you look like the winner, everyone else can see it. Expect incoming sends from two directions. The correct response is not to missile-spam chat. It is to:
- freeze expansion for one cycle
- top up garrisons on every city you cannot afford to lose
- overflow only toward the weakest remaining urban cluster
- let countryside wait
Players who keep expanding at the same speed they used at minute three lose the lead at minute twelve. Slow is smooth when you are ahead.
Closing the map
The last tiles are a mop, not a new war. Overflow from your safest city, never from your only city. If two cities can both reach the last cluster, send from the one farther from threats. Keep collect running. A skipped collect during the mop is a skipped troop wave you might need if a hidden stack appears.
When the map is yours, spend leftover rewards on commands you actually understand. Then write down which opening you used so the openings page matches your reality next queue.
If you are behind
Do not all-in the leader’s capital unless you can hold it. Pick a neglected city, take it, collect, and force the leader to turn around. Two small urban steals beat one heroic fail. Redeem codes before the next match rather than mid-panic — the gift button is a terrible thing to fumble while a stack is inbound. Steps are on how to redeem.
Beta will throw extra chaos: stalled sends, missing HUD, odd collisions. Rejoin, report on the Roblox community, and do not assume the leader is cheating because a [🔥UPD] build desynced. Check beta notes.
Win the production war, then the paint job. That order is the whole game.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the win condition in Total Conquest?
Control the whole map. Rewards come from that control. Kills and missiles are tools, not the scoreboard.
How do I stop getting piled on as the leader?
Garrison every city, expand with overflow only, and spend strikes on the player who can actually reach you. The troop-split planner helps set those garrisons.
Should I truce with random players?
You can pause a fight, but keep a home guard. Unspoken truces break as soon as you look like the city leader.
Is winning different in a friend group?
The win condition is the same. Friends only change who is allowed to walk which city. Call holds out loud and still garrison against the rest of the server.
